bride and groom waterside portrait

Meeting Lauren and Luke during their fabulous engagement session made me so excited for this summertime Hotel Du Village wedding. Their love for each other was so sweet, and their enthusiasm for celebrating their big day was contagious! Lauren’s sparkling personality and Luke’s easygoing nature made them a joy to work with. I couldn’t wait to witness their big day.

The Perfect Venue: Hotel Du Village

Hotel Du Village in New Hope effortlessly combines European rustic charm with elegant sophistication. Nestled in the heart of Bucks County, this historic estate has beautifully manicured gardens, charming architecture, and a picturesque setting that makes it a dream location for weddings. The venue’s combination of natural beauty and refined elegance provided the perfect backdrop for Lauren and Luke’s garden party-themed wedding.

Hotel Du Village offers a range of stunning indoor and outdoor spaces, allowing couples to create a day that is uniquely their own. With its lush gardens, enchanting little brook, and serene pond, the venue provided an idyllic setting for Lauren and Luke’s vision of a laid-back gathering of friends and family. The elegant ballroom, with its crystal chandeliers and rich wood trim, added a touch of sophistication to the evening’s celebrations.

The Wedding Day Vision

Lauren and Luke had a clear vision for their wedding day. The couple wanted a relaxed and intimate gathering of friends and family where everyone could enjoy the beautiful surroundings and celebrate their union.

They emphasized the venue’s natural beauty, aiming for a botanical bohemian wildflower vibe with a touch of elegance. Their color palette was earthy and vintage, featuring moss-green satin bridesmaid dresses and floral arrangements that resembled a random gathering of wildflower buds. Lauren and Luke looked forward to exploring the grounds together and watching their guests interact. They hoped the day would unfold naturally, creating an intimate and relaxed garden gathering.

A Lush Garden Party

The day of Lauren and Luke’s wedding arrived, bringing with it the warm, golden light of a perfect summer’s day. The gardens of Hotel Du Village were in full bloom, providing a lush and vibrant backdrop for the festivities. The air was filled with the scent of blooming flowers, and the gentle sound of the brook added a soothing ambiance to the celebration. Guests arrived and were immediately taken by the beauty of the surroundings, setting the tone for the day.

A Garden Ceremony

The ceremony took place in the heart of the gardens, where guests were seated among the flowers and trees. Lauren looked stunning as she walked down the aisle. Her veil, with its delicate floral embroidery, added a touch of the bohemian to her elegant and understated bridal look. Luke’s eyes lit up as he saw her, and the couple exchanged vows under a canopy of greenery.

Wildflower-Inspired Florals

The wedding flowers perfectly reflected Lauren’s vision. The arrangements featured a delightful mix of textures and colors, creating a whimsical and elegant look. The bouquets were a random gathering of buds, each unique and beautiful in its own way, adding to the botanical bohemian feel of the day.

An Elegant Reception

After the ceremony, guests moved indoors to the beautiful ballroom for the reception. The room was breathtaking, with crystal chandeliers casting a warm glow and whole walls of windows bringing in the stunning natural light. The rich wood trim added a touch of classic elegance, creating a perfect setting for the evening’s celebrations.

The tables were adorned with more wildflower-inspired arrangements, colored glassware, and softly flickering candles, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The whole reception echoed with laughter and love as the bride and groom basked in the glow of their loved ones.

A Heartfelt Thank You

Capturing Lauren and Luke’s wedding was an absolute joy. Their vision of a garden-party-inspired Hotel Du Village wedding came to life in the most beautiful way, creating a day that was as memorable as it was magical. Every detail was thoughtfully planned and beautifully executed, from the lush gardens to the elegant ballroom. Thank you, Lauren and Luke, for allowing me to be a part of your unforgettable celebration.
