Fall Longwood Gardens Engagement

future groom snuggling bride in the garden

Capturing Mallory and Jeb’s Fall Longwood Gardens engagement session felt like stepping into a nature-soaked storybook! Every chapter unfolded with laughter, warmth, and genuine love. This unique couple, with their deep-rooted values of love for family and commitment to each other, wanted their engagement photos to reflect the warm-weather vibes of their late summer/early Fall wedding. What better place to mirror their upcoming garden party than Longwood Gardens! This Lancaster location is as vibrant and full of life as their love for each other.

The Beauty of an Indoor Garden

Longwood Gardens isn’t just any backdrop; it’s a living tapestry of nature’s finest work. With its sprawling landscapes, gorgeous flower beds, and majestic trees, it’s like nature itself was celebrating Mallory and Jeb’s union.

Every corner we turned opened up a new scene, each more amazing than the last. It providing the perfect setting for capturing their love. Longwood is such a serene space where you feel like love could bloom as freely as the flora that surrounds you.

The added bonus is that it’s beautiful inside no matter the season outside! You can’t go wrong with its lush hallways or beautiful atrium that lets in all the light, and these two surely took advantage of that golden glow.

Future Wedding Plans

Mallory and Jeb are planning a wedding that’s as magnificent as their love story—a boho and greenery-filled garden party right around Labor Day. They envision a celebration that’s not just an event, but an experience for everyone involved. Surrounded by the beauty of nature and the warmth of their nearest and dearest, their vision is to create a day that’s both intimate and grand. It will be a true reflection of their journey together.

A Unique Wedding Venue

The Stolzfus Homestead, the venue that stole their heart, is the perfect canvas for their dream wedding. Nestled in the heart of Lancaster, this venue is a hidden gem that exudes rustic charm and elegance.

With its historic buildings, lush gardens, and panoramic views of the countryside, the Homestead tells its own story and welcomes coupes with open arms. It’s easy to see why Mallory and Jeb fell in love with this place.  I can’t wait to see how the venue blends the beauty of nature with the intimacy of a family gathering.

Photographing Mallory and Jeb at Longwood Gardens was just another opportunity to fall in love with these gardens all over again. Plus it’s always a great chance to get to know my bride and groom! Their ease with each other made capturing their love feel not like a task, but a privilege. It was a day filled with natural beauty, from the gardens that served as our backdrop to the genuine love that Mallory and Jeb share. Their connection with each other and the nature around us made for a truly beautiful photo experience.

Until Next Time

As we wrapped up our session and said our goodbyes, I was so excited for their upcoming wedding. If their engagement session was any indication, their wedding day is going to be nothing short of magical. Mallory and Jeb, thank you for allowing me to capture this chapter of your love story. Your love for each other and the values you hold dear shine through in every photo, and I’m honored to have been a part of this journey with you.

Here’s to Mallory and Jeb! May your love continue to flourish like the gardens of Longwood, and may your wedding day be as beautiful and filled with love as the moments we captured together!
